So, you are thinking about taking the leap and joining us at City Plumbing?
Firstly I would like to say, good choice! I have worked for City Plumbing for over 11 years in varying roles both full and part time. 11 years, I think that speaks for itself and I honestly cannot see myself anywhere else for the rest of my working life. Over this time I have seen the business change, adapt and grow. In my opinion, now is one of the most exciting times in the City plumbing journey and a great time to join the team.
Feeling nervous is perfectly normal. It shows that you care about the interview and how you come across. Remember the person who is interviewing you is probably a little nervous too!
Of course there will be lots of questions, it’s an interview, right? What we really like though, are the questions that you ask us. It gives a real insight into who you are and the way you think.
Examples - Yes we are going to ask you for examples. So have some answers prepared.
This is your time to shine! - Have those examples prepared, and don’t be modest - blow your own trumpet! Let us know about your achievements and successes.
Don’t forget the failures as well, let’s face it life and work are not all plain sailing! Demonstrating how you deal with these gives us a perfect example of how you deal with adversity and how resilient you are
Bring the real YOU to your interview, after all it is YOUR interview. We can only put on a front for so long and let's face it, it’s exhausting! People in all their wonderful diversity, personality and experience are what makes our business great.
